Caring for your handmade knife

Hello ! And thanks for your support of Abaddon Knives , your blade is 1095 steel, etched black in ferric chloride and waxed to prevent corrosion. High carbon steel is more shock absorbent and will hold an edge better than stainless; however it is susceptible to corrosion.

To prevent this, keep it clean, dry, and sharp when not in use. Hand wash only.

  • If your going to prepare food or skin game, when done wipe it down with a food safe oil or axe wax.

  • If it’s going to be a range tool, demolition tool, or straight murda weapon, CLP works even better.

    Side note…

I definitely will always consider myself an amateur, so please provide lots of feedback on performance and design.

If there are any glaring issues or catastrophic failure, I’m happy to replace it. If you ever want it sharpened or a spa day, just write me a message and we make a plan!!
